Culture is one of the areas of tourism that is now growing in areas, one of them in Purbalingga Regency Central Java Province, there is a culture of traditional art that is the original cultural heritage of Purbalingga Traditional Arts Manongan which is a cultural tourist attraction in Panusupan Purbalingga District is currently almost extinct. The research method used is qualitative method. Data completion technique is done by observation, interview, and documentation. Data processing techniques are Reduction, Display, conclusion and verification. And data analysis SWOT used. Many factors caused the art of Manongan abandoned one of them is not successful revitalization done in 2015, the role of the people who are less because many do not know this art and the absence of written evidence written about the Arts Manongan. The role of the government seeks to preserve it by coaching and also participate in practicing the Arts Manongan.
