Pura Meru is the cultural tourism and history of the oldest Hindu religion in Mataram, Pura Meru is used as a center of Hindu worship, and is also used as a religious tourism center in West Lombok. The method that researchers do is a qualitative method in which research aims to describe the social condition of Hindu religious communities around Pura Meru. As the result of the analysis shows that there is interference of the government, the community in the management of Pura Meru, one example is the government gives funds to the managers for the treatment at Pura Meru and also the community participate in guarding at Pura Meru
