Ecotourism is one of the alternative forms of tourism where tourists visit natural tourist destinations with the principle of still appreciating and preserving the nature by supporting conservation efforts and also supporting the welfare of local communities. In this study the author used qualitative research method, where the data collection process is done by observation, interview and documentation. Bukit Gatan is one of the ecotourism-managed tourist destinations in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra.
