Culture has become a part of tourist attraction. So that besides introducing Indonesian culture, it is also necessary to preserve culture so that it can be used as a tourist attraction on an ongoing basis. One of Indonesian culture is batik. Batik Mukti Wibowo comes from Ponorogo Regency, East Java The research approach uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of the study were Batik Mukti Wibowo craftsmen, Batik industry, Ponorogo community, consumers and the government. The results showed that the government played a role in the preservation of Batik Mukti Wibowo, but many people did not know it yet, even though people who knew about Batik Mukti Wibowo were interested in using it. Therefore, the right promotion strategy needs to be carried out by involving all government instruments, batik makers, local communities, adding facilities and improving quality
