Batu Bolong Temple is a religious tourism object located in Senggigi, West Lombok. This study aims to (1) Know the strategy for developing Batu Bolong Temple (2) Understand the role of government (3) Understand community participation in tourism activities. Methods used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collected with observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation, and analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of this reasearch are (1) Tourism potential of Batu Bolong Temple is good to be developed as a tourist destination because of its unique attractions, even though hasn't been fully maximized. (2) Government officials have a role in financial assistance and promotions, but it is not sufficient for tourism development. (3) There are already people who participate in the Pura Batu Bolong environment, but only as traders, not caretakers.
