The peoples participates in environmental preservation throught turtle conservation. The goverment helped by creating a legal entity for turtle conservation in Wediombo Beach. The peoples and managers develop the Wediombo Beach with funds that are mostly from community self-help. With this development to increase the number of tourist visits and help promote the Wediombo Beach.
