The tomb of cultural artist, Giri Sapto, is one of the attractions in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. This tomb has potential for historical and educational tourism that is interesting to visit. Internal andexternal factors are the most important things in developing this tourism attraction. The obstacles arise in the development of this tourism attraction are the lack of interest in tourist visits, the lack of funding and the role of human resources, as well as access and facilities that must be improved. Then the strategy for developing the tomb is needed. The purpose of this study is to formulate a tourism development strategy based on existing obstacles. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was analized in the form of SWOT.
