Abstract In this paper, a modified feasible semi-smooth asymptotically Newton method for nonlinear complementarity problems is proposed. The global convergence of the method and superlinear convergence are proved under some suitable assumptions. Numerical experiments are included to highlight the efficacy of the modified algorithm.
