Deskripsi
A new indole alkaloid, picranitine, has been isolated from the seeds of <i>Picralima nitida</i>, along with five known indole alkaloids picratidine, akuammine, pseudoakuammine, akuammicine and akuammidine previously identified from the same source. Structures were elucidated through exhaustive spectral studies including 1D (<sup>1</sup>H and <sup>13</sup>C NMR) and 2D-NMR (HMQC, HMBC and NOESY).
