On the bases of modified electron-statistical method, we have proposed the method of calculation of the work function’s anisotropy of metallic monocrystals. The work function and surface energy had been calculated for closepacked faces of allotropy phases of 4d - and 5d - metals with bcc structure. We had demonstrated that this method gives the results, which correlate with experimental data for polycrystals.
