Deskripsi
The crystal structure of the title complex, [Zn(C7H6NO2S)2(H2O)]n, consists of extended layers parallel to (001) with 2-(pyridin-4-ylsulfanyl)acetate ligands bridging the ZnII atoms. The ZnII atom shows a distorted pentagonal–bipyramidal coordination environment. The ZnII and one O atom are situated on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis. In the crystal, intralayer O—H...O hydrogen-bond interactions help to consolidate the coordination layer.
