Deskripsi
The role of ok in dialogue navigation, and more specifically in the transitions between projects and between sub-projects, is analyzed from the perspectives of both psychology of dialogue and linguistics. Starting with oral data (transcribed goal-directed dialogues), we show that although ok usually marks “vertical” transitions (Bangerter & Clark, 2003) in dialogue, prosody can also specify its role as a “segmenter”, shedding light on the different roles played by ok in dialogue structuration. These observations, based on a selection of examples, will be extended in future work.
