Deskripsi
This paper addresses vehicle stealing with the help of alert SMS notifications and remotely controlling the engine. A microcontroller detects unauthorized access by any doubtful person and triggers a GSM modem to alert the owner’s phone by sending an SMS notification. This message would indicate potential stealing. In response, the actual owner could remotely transmit a specific SMS command back to the device, instructing it to stop the engine through a relay switch interrupting the ignition system. However, it’s crucial to acknowledge limitations. SMS transmission delays and potential for signal interference could hinder timely notification. Additionally, disabling a moving vehicle remotely introduces significant safety risks, potentially causing accidents or loss of control. While the concept offers theft intimation, a more secure and comprehensive approach integrating real-time tracking, GPS location services, and contacting authorities should be prioritized for actual implementation.
