In order to meet the construction requirements of CBM horizontal well and reduce the drilling cost, it is necessary to investigate and summarize the conventional water-source drilling rig, oil drilling rig and truck-mounted drilling rig. Combined with the characteristics of geological conditions, operating environment and construction technology of CBM horizontal well, the fully hydraulic truck-mounted drilling rig is selected, which was suitable for CBM horizontal well. The characteristics of conventional mud pump group are analyzed, the 150 kW energy-saving generator is connected in parallel at the output of diesel engine, and the mud pump group is optimized. Based on the conventional oil solid control system, a four-stage solid control system for CBM horizontal well is designed. Thus, a set of drilling equipment for CBM horizontal well is formed.
