Summary: Here, we present a protocol for inducing fibrosis in human kidney-2 (HK2) cells followed by quantitative real-time PCR analysis of fibrosis-related genes. We describe steps for growing and expanding cells, inducing HK2 fibrosis, and collecting cells for downstream applications.
