Deskripsi
In view of the hope currently offered by the peace process held in Colombia, the paper analyzes the desires for peace of black communities in the Pacific, a region that is still suffering the ravages of war, after the disputes for territorial power between multiple illegal armed groups. The answers are obtained from the analysis of three musicalized texts, seen as instruments of political expression and construction of memory and collective consciousness about the conflict and its consequences. It is concluded that the desired peace, besides being associated with the end of the war, is linked to the overcoming of other types of violence, as a guarantee of a good life.
