In the crystal, carboxyl-O—H...O(sulfonate), hydroxyl-O—H...O(sulfonate), water-O—H...O(sulfonate, hydroxyl) and ammonium-N—H...O(water, carbonyl) hydrogen bonds link the components of the asymmetric unit into supramolecular layers parallel to (001).
