<p>Cognitive dysfunction is one of the common non-motor symptoms (NMS) in Parkinson's disease (PD), which affects patients' life quality and increases the burden of caregivers. Cognitive dysfunction in PD can be divided into two parts, which are mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia. This article aims to provide an overview on pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria and pharmacotherapy of PD both at home and abroad.</p><p> </p><p><strong>DOI: </strong>10.3969/j.issn.1672-6731.2017.01.003</p>
