W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań stali niestopowej S235JR metodą prądów wirowych. Celem pracy było określenie przydatności tej metody do oceny głębokości wklęśnięcia lica spoiny przy wykorzystaniu sond i defektoskopu produkcji Instytutu Mechaniki Precyzyjnej. Przedstawiono przedmiot badań, aparaturę pomiarową oraz metodykę prowadzonych badań. Wykazano skuteczność metody prądów wirowych do oceny badanych niezgodności w oparciu o wyniki badań metodą porównawczą.  Eddy current method of testing welded joints – depth evaluation of the weld face concavity  Abs􏰤􏰁tract The paper presents the eddy current method of testing welded joints of the unalloyed steel S235JR. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the method for evaluation of the weld face concavity while using probes and defectoscope manufactured by Institute of Precision Mechanics. The object of study, measuring equipment and methodology of measurement were given. There was shown an efficacy of evaluation of the studied non-compliances based on the results of the comparative method.
