The purpose of the current article is to make an inventory of all the varied references to Seventh-day Adventists in the Romanian literature (belles-letters) of the 20th century. Further to the aforementioned is the aim to highlight those definitive characteristics of Adventists which such references capture, thus drawing up a profile of the same, one that persists in the collective consciousness of the larger community (Romanian society made up of mainly eastern orthodox citizens), of which Adventists are integral part.
