Fantastical sagas are serial narratives that mobilize diferente genders and languages in its constitution. The saga “Chronicles of Ice and Fire” it is na example of how these stories are successful. In this article, we considerate sagas as examples of literary experiences, because they challenge its readers to unveil a fictional world and discover its rules. The main goal of this work is to characterize the “Chronicles of Ice and Fire” as a fantastical saga, identifying the elements of its paracosmos and recognizable mythical structures, as well as describing the literary experiences of its readers.
