Thoracic surgery requires lung isolation which is usually achieved by placing a double lumen tube (DLT). Correct placement of DLT is crucial for lung isolation. In this case report incomplete lung isolation with DLT was corrected using a Fogarty catheter to achieve lung isolation successfully.
