Amiodarone is one of the most commonly used anti-arrhythmic drugs. However, intravenous amiodarone is associated with direct irritation of vessel walls and phlebitis. This paper reviewed studies on factors, prevention and nursing countermeasures of amiodarone-induced phlebitis, and provided reference for clinical practice and prevention of amiodarone-induced phlebitis.
