The organization of International constructors of automobiles (OICA) pays great attention to the assessment of the effect of the noise of pneumatics on the overall vehicle noise level. In that context, comprehensive examinations of various types of pneumatics have been carried out from the viewpoint of determination of the correlation between the noise of pneumatics and the noise of vehicles: the acceleration and torque effects on the noise of pneumatics and the overall noise of vehicles. It is obvious that local as well as foreign motor vehicles manufacturers are faced with a very complex problem which has to be solved successively, but very quickly and efficiently in order to reduce the noise and enable the homologation of newly manufactured vehicles.
