Neuroendocrine tumors (NENs) are rare tumors arising from neuroendocrine cells distributed throughout the body. 177Lu-DOTATATE has been shown to significantly prolong the progression-free survival of patients, and has been widely used abroad. There are many studies on the radiation safety of 177Lu-DOTATATE treatment abroad. There are no similar products on the market in China, and there is no research on radiation safety, and there is a lack of relevant national standards. This paper analyzes and summarizes the research, regulations and management requirements related to radiation safety in 177Lu-DOTATATE treatment abroad in recent years, so as to provide reference for the formulation of radiation safety management norms and standards for 177Lu-DOTATATE treatment in China.
