We show that if the Lyapunov exponents of a linear difference equation are limits, then the same happens with the Lyapunov exponents of the solutions of the nonlinear equations for any sufficiently small nonlinear perturbation. We consider the case with a very general nonuniform behaviour, which is called nonuniform $(h,k,\mu,\nu)$ behavior.
