Deskripsi

Infertility is a complex pathophysiological condition. Global estimates suggest that 10-15 % of couples in the world experience infertility. Steroid Hormones produce sex steroids, for gametogenesis. Steroidogenesis is initiated by the transport of cholesterol as starting material, for which the steroid acute regulatory protein (STAR) is obligatory. The trophic hormone induced rapid increases in StAR mRNA levels. expression of StAR gene being tightly regulated by an array of transcription factors (TFs) but epigenetics provides an additional layer of gene regulation through histone tail modifications. In present Study Luteinized granulosa cells collected from infertile and fertile women For review Histone mark (H3K4me3) by using Chromatin immune precipitation (ChIP) method and then DNA Purified from these cells Checked by  qPCR technique. Follicle Number and  Oocyte Number of Meiosis ΙΙ stage (MΙΙ) increase by presence of (H3K4me3) in StAR promoter gene but this mark has no effect on Gv and Meiosis Ι (MΙ) stages.
