Single cluster catalysts are considered as versatile boosters in heterogeneous catalysis. Here the authors report subnanometric Cu clusters dispersed on Fe-doped MoO2 support exhibits attractive performance in furfural valorization to C8-C15 aviation biofuels via a newly developed reaction route.
