To create an English-speaking environment for students, organizing after-school activities plays a crucial role. This research aims at exploring the students’ real use and needs for language practice in Faculty of Foreign Languages. The results showed that the students’ need for language use was much higher than the opportunities they got from learning. Besides, students need a more variety of activities outside class in order to be involved and improve their English competence.
