We conduct a (pre-)inflationary dynamics study of the chaotic quadratic potential within the framework of a simple noncommutative extension of effective loop quantum cosmology put forward recently. It is concluded that, for typically small values of the noncommutativity parameter, the resulting (pre-)inflationary scenario is essentially indistinguishable from the one corresponding to standard loop quantum cosmology.
