The Branch Library of Medicine of the Saxon State and University Library of Dresden (SLUB) plans a new building opening effective future prospects – best place for learning and communication on medical campus in Dresden-Johannstadt and a location factor for scientific information providing at the University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine of the Dresden University of Technology too. The paper explains the intention of the plan and, in addition, introduces the present performed library services.
