Deskripsi
Mid-aortic syndrome (MAS) is rare vascular syndrome caused by segmental stenosis between distal arch and thoracoabdominal aorta. A common age of onset has been reported between childhood and young adults and female gender is dominant. Extra-anatomical bypass beyond the stenotic lesion is one of the effective treatments. However, long-term outcomes including complication are still unknown. Herein, we present a case of 37-year-old lady with past medical history of extra-anatomical bypass for mid-aortic syndrome who suffered from prosthetic graft rupture, successfully treated by endovascular repair.
