The acceleration grid power supply (AGPS) is a key component of the negative-ion neutral beam injector (NNBI) system. DC offset is one of the pivotal problems in the construction of the inverter for the AGPS. An optimized control scheme is proposed in this paper to minimize DC current flowed in the isolated step-up transformer. It is based on the idea of optimizing the measured value through a Kalman filter and making it converge to a limited value through a PI controller. Theoretical analysis and simulation results confirm the concept.
