This article studies the characteristics of the organizations which have been set up in Galicia for immigrants returned to this Spanish region, and their development in the 90s. The initial multiplicity and variety of associations of exemigrants has to deal with their inability to reintegrate into Galician society. The organisational weakness of some of these organisations and their social aid programmes force them to join other organisations. As a result, only the oldest and most well-established have managed to survive to the present day.
