In order to improve overall performance of scraper conveyor used on working face, frequency conversion motor was used as driving device of scraper conveyor to realize soft start. Designs of mechanical structure, electrical structure and control system of frequency conversion motor were introduced. The points for attention of applying frequency conversion motor were proposed according to application experience.
