The objective of the article is to present a synthesis and an analysis of the thought and the contributions of Taylor, Fayol and Ford in what it says respect to the proposals of rational organization of the work, as well as indicating some initiatives that allow to understand the reception way that they had had in Brazil from the years of 1930.
