André Dias Laudes are very important for the medieval spiritual literature in Portugal and no less remarkable are its implications within the ‘parateatralidad’. We refer here, in particular, the Livro dos Milagres do Bom Jesus de S. Domingos de Lisboa, their interesting and juicy introduction, the reason for its inclusion and its role within the work Laudes e Cantigas. We also discuss the use and content of miracles included there.
