This article explores the specificity of the diverse influence of anglicisms on the development of the vocabulary of the Russian language of the newest period, informing it of new properties and features. This is primarily due to a number of social, political and economic reasons, as well as intra-linguistic reasons. Anglicisms are mastered at various levels of the language system (from phonetic to semantic). The published article presents the results of the process of anglization of the lexical composition of the Russian language of the XXI century. This paper describes the features of the assimilation of anglicisms at each level of the language system: 1) phono-orthographic level; 2) morphological level; 3) lexical-semantic level.
