Research on radar task scheduling with power constraint

Aiming at the task-scheduling problem of phased array radar subject to low probability of intercept (LPI), the radar radiation power constraint and power agility features are analysed. Then, the task-scheduling model with multi-constraints of phased array radar is established. Based on the high solving precision and fast convergent rate characteristics of the particle swarm optimization (PSO), a modified discrete PSO (MDPSO) algorithm is proposed to solve the task-scheduling problem. The proposed method can achieve the task scheduling optimal with the LPI performance guaranteed simultaneously, and agility power between the radar frames decreases effectively. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
