Deskripsi
As a result of increasing population and industrial activities in the world, the negative effects on water resources have been increasingly growing. For this reason, efficient use of water resources through new strategies and methods is required. Considering data regarding the water consumption, it has been seen that the necessary precautions are not taken in terms of water resources management and there is no sustainable water management. In this sense, it is necessary to develop and implement water management projects reducing water consumption rates and aiming at efficient and reuse of water. In this study, a transformable rainwater project was developed within the sample of Isparta Vocational Education Center building. For this purpose, the amount of water obtained from the roof of the study area was calculated using the precipitation data of Isparta. The water stored from rainwater can be used in irrigation projects with drip systems. This project should not only be considered as transformable water systems in educational buildings, but will also enable students to become familiar with the concept of sustainability in their future lives.
