<p>The paper deals with the study of faunal diversity of Orthoptera of Gomerda Wildlife Sanctuary, Raigarh District of Chhattisgarh. Altogether 47 species pertaining to 44 genera under seven families are reported for the first time from the sanctuary. Two species, i.e., <em>Phonarellus </em>(<em>Phonarellus</em>)<em> erythrocephalus erythrocephalus</em> (Serville, 1839) and<em> Teleogryllus</em> (<em>Macroteleogryllus</em>) <em>mitratus</em> (Burmeister, 1838) are new additions to the Chhattisgarh State. </p><div> </div>
