The article tells about validity and feasibility of diagnostics of functional dyspepsia in children, relation between symptoms of dyspepsia and morphological signs of chronic gastritis, indications for anti-helicobacter therapy in children with functional dyspepsia. Etiology and pathogenesis of functional dyspepsia in children, as well as approaches to treatment, are highlighted.
