This paper reviewed the clinical data and nursing management of a patient with severe pneumonia and diabetes mellitus. The patient received transnasal feeding tube placement for enteral nutrition support. In addition to enteral nutrition-related nursing management, a care bundle including psychological nursing, oral/nasal cavity and skin care, maintenance of feeding tube and catheter was carried out to improve the treatment efficacy.
