Halophytes distribution from Valea Ilenei (Iasi) nature reserve is strictly correlated to environmental factors (soil salinity, humidity), reflecting the morphological and anatomical adaptations found in different species. The observed and analyzed species have different ecological spectra and occupy well delineated micro-habitats. Integrative ecology can easily and naturally provide operative adaptive profiles for each studied species.
