<p>En este art&iacute;culo se describe el procedimiento utilizado para la evaluaci&oacute;n del control<br />autom&aacute;tico de la generaci&oacute;n en el Sistema Nacional Interconectado (SNI) del Ecuador,<br />tomando como marco de referencia los criterios CPS-1 y CPS-2 (Control Performance<br />Standars por sus siglas en ingl&eacute;s.) de la NERC. El art&iacute;culo est&aacute; dividido en secciones que<br />explican en detalle en qu&eacute; consisten los criterios CPS de la NERC, c&oacute;mo se calculan los<br />l&iacute;mites de estos criterios teniendo en consideraci&oacute;n las condiciones espec&iacute;ficas del sistema<br />el&eacute;ctrico ecuatoriano (secci&oacute;n 2), y c&oacute;mo se aplican los criterios en la evaluaci&oacute;n del control<br />autom&aacute;tico de la generaci&oacute;n en el SNI del Ecuador teniendo en cuenta la interconexi&oacute;n con<br />Colombia (secci&oacute;n 3). Adem&aacute;s se sugiere el valor m&iacute;nimo de BIAS a fijar en el sistema<br />ecuatoriano para el cumplimiento del criterio CPS-2.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This paper presents an analytic framework for the formulation and evaluation of automatic<br />generation control in the Ecuadorian Electrical System (SNI) taking like reference mark the<br />approaches CPS-1 and CPS-2 of NERC. The article is divided in sections that they explain in<br />detail the approaches CPS of NERC, how the limits of these approaches are calculated having<br />in consideration the specific conditions of the electric Ecuadorian system (section 2), and how<br />the approaches are applied in the evaluation of the automatic control of the generation in SNI<br />of Ecuador keeping in mind the interconnection with Colombia (section 3). The minimum value<br />of BIAS is also suggested to fix in the Ecuadorian system for the execution of the approach<br />CPS-2.</p>
