The geosites evaluation card. An exhaustive example used on the Romanian sites.Considering that a central scientific value and several additional values can provide an objective regard of geosites (or geotopes), the paper discusses an assessment methodology based on the new evaluation cards. The methodology presented here, as well as the evaluation cards, was used for a study on Romanian sites. The methodology discusses the structure of the evaluation card, the scientific assessment and the additional parameters as the assigning of different scores.
