Deskripsi

Collision tumors are less encountered in spine. Especially meningioma co-exist with lung cancer has rarely been report in the spine. The authors present a case of a 65-year-old male who presented with 2 weeks of intermitting cervical pain radiating to right upper limb. MRI revealed an intradural, extramedullary enhancing mass at C2. The mass was successfully resected surgically. Pathologic evaluation revealed a meningioma with components of metastasis from small cell lung cancer. To the authors’ knowledge, this is the first case of collision tumor involving metastasis from small lung cell cancer with co-exist spinal meningioma described in an extramedullary location.
