Deskripsi
A new species, Pachira nukakica Fernández-Alonso from Amazonian Colombia is described and illustrated. Due to the transfer of six species of Bombacopsis Pitt. and two of Rhodognaphalopsis Robyns to Pachira Aubl., eight new combinaúons are proposed. Finally, the first records from Colombian territory of four additional species are cited.
