Deskripsi

Leonardo da Vinci's Miter Gate floodgate has a design that is considered being effective at holding water. The rapid development of technology makes push technology easy to implement in a system that is integrated with the internet. This research aims to develop an automation device for irrigation sluices using the Leonardo da Vinci Miter Gate model and sending information through push technology. This research was carried out through five stages, namely: literature study, functional design, structural design, technical analysis and testing of automation systems using Arduino UNO, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, Servo Motor and Router to be the main tools in this study. This research uses engineering methods and produces prototypes of the Leonardo da Vinci Miter Gate model of irrigation canal and watergate, and integration with automation devices has resulted in user-readable information via the LCD layer or via a smartphone. The findings from the test results are that the leakage at the door is 5-8% of the inlet discharge. In the functional design of sensors, actuators and water level data monitoring runs according to a written script and produces an average notification reception for 3 seconds after sending information.
