Slovenia has taken on the Bologna challenge and will modify its study programmes and consider the principles of the Bologna process until 2010. In ensuring quality of renewal of the study programmes,the opinions of experts outside the university environment are appreciated. For that purpose, an analysis of the efficiency of the surveying study programmes at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty ofCivil and Geodetic Engineering, was performed among employers in surveying. The main aim of the analysis was to obtain the ratio between the expected and achieved abilities, skills and knowledge, which should be achieved by graduates of surveying during their study.
